| Physical, emotional, and informational support to women and their partners during labor and birth. |
| Help and advice on comfort measures such as breathing, relaxation, massage and positioning. Continuous emotional reassurance and comfort. |
| Assistance to families in gathering information about the course of their labor and their options. |
| Unlimited visits, phone consultations. Also, I will attend doctor appointments and CBE classes when I'm available. |
| Assistance to partners who want to play an active support role so the woman has a safe and satisfying childbirth as the woman defines it. |
| Followup meeting with the new mother to discuss the birth and visit with the new family (and maybe to deliver your bellycast.) Immediately after the birth, I will be available for help with breastfeeding or to answer any questions. |

| Birth Pictures |
| For my Doula Service clients, I will take pictures during and after your birth. I am not a professional photographer. I simply offer this service since I know it can be easy to forget to bring a camera (or some film!) I have a small point and shoot digital camera that I usually bring to every birth "just in case." These can be downloaded to my computer and e-mailed to loved ones whithin hours after the delivery. If you like, I can get black and white film and/or bring my 35 mm SLR for a little bit better quality. I will either finish the roll or rewind the film and leave it with you to be developed. I also have a Digital Camcorder that I can bring if we make prior arrangements. I can usually make time during your birth to snap a few pictures and still provide you with labor support. I can also save the video and still digital photos on a CD in a format that you can view on your computer or most DVD players. This service is provided at no extra cost.
